Spiritual Alignment Diagnostic

"I had been drifting for years — carrying questions I couldn't name. The diagnostic checklist alone helped me see where the fractures were. The coaching that followed changed my entire orientation toward faith."— Aisling M., Galway, after 6 sessions
One of 73 guided journeys
completed since 2022

Where Does Your Spirit Stand Right Now?

Mark each statement that resonates. Your honest response shapes the guidance we offer — no judgement, only clarity.

Your responses matter. Each checked statement maps to a dimension of spiritual alignment — connection, purpose, release, practice, and trust. Most people who come to us have marked between three and six items. That is not a sign of failure. It is a sign of readiness.

We do not prescribe beliefs. We walk alongside you as you rediscover your own. The coaching relationship begins with honest acknowledgement of where you are — which you have just done.

Method Note

Our approach draws from contemplative Christian tradition, interfaith dialogue practice, and somatic awareness. We are not therapists. We do not diagnose mental health conditions. We hold space for the spiritual dimension of your experience.

Guided by Rev. Caitríona Dunne, M.Div., with 14 years in pastoral and retreat ministry.

How Spiritual Coaching Differs from Therapy, Mentoring, or Religious Instruction

Therapy addresses psychological health. Mentoring transfers knowledge from experience. Religious instruction teaches doctrine. Spiritual coaching does none of these — and all of these, differently.

In coaching, you are the authority on your own spiritual life. The coach serves as a mirror, a question-asker, a companion in silence. We do not tell you what to believe. We help you listen to what you already know but have not yet been able to hear.

Sessions may include guided reflection, breath-centred prayer, scriptural dialogue, nature-based contemplation, or simply sitting with what is difficult. The shape of each session emerges from your need, not a curriculum.

This is slow work. It cannot be rushed, optimised, or hacked. It asks you to be present — sometimes uncomfortably so. But the people who stay with it describe a shift that nothing else has given them: not certainty, but a living, breathing relationship with the sacred.

Begin With One Honest Conversation

The Threshold session is a single 90-minute meeting — no commitment beyond that. You bring your questions. We bring our full attention. Together, we map where you are and whether this path serves you.

What Happens After You Reach Out

DAY 1
You submit a brief inquiry. We respond within 24 hours with a short questionnaire about your spiritual background and current questions — not to evaluate you, but to prepare ourselves to listen well.
DAY 3–5
We schedule your Threshold session at a time that allows you to be unhurried. You receive a short preparation guide — a few reflective prompts, nothing onerous.
SESSION
We meet. We listen. We reflect together. At the end, if a deeper pathway feels right, we discuss which one aligns with what surfaced. If not, we part with gratitude and no pressure.
AFTER
You receive a written reflection — not a report, but a gentle record of what was spoken and what was noticed. This becomes your anchor as you decide your next step.
"I came expecting answers and instead received something far more valuable — better questions. Caitríona has an extraordinary ability to sit with uncertainty without trying to fix it."— Tomás R., Dublin, Calling pathway participant
"After my mother's death, my faith collapsed. The Restoration pathway didn't rebuild it — it let something new grow in its place. I didn't know that was possible."— Niamh K., Cork, completed Restoration in spring 2024

Is This the Right Fit?

Spiritual coaching is powerful but not universal. Here is an honest assessment of who it serves well — and who it may not.

This Is For You If:

  • You are willing to sit with discomfort
  • You are open to questions without immediate answers
  • You want a companion, not a guru
  • You respect your own spiritual autonomy
  • You can commit to showing up honestly

This May Not Be For You If:

  • You are in acute mental health crisis (we can refer you)
  • You want someone to tell you what to believe
  • You are seeking quick fixes or spiritual bypassing
  • You are not ready to engage with difficult emotions

A Note on Faith Tradition

We welcome people of all faith backgrounds and none. Our roots are in the Christian contemplative tradition, but our practice is interfaith and inclusive. Atheists, agnostics, and seekers are as welcome as lifelong believers. The only requirement is a genuine desire to explore your inner landscape with honesty.
